The top platter is completely useless and does not have a head. Buy the 640 GB one for the same 2 Platters but 4 read/write heads. The 1 TB WD Caviar Green are the worlds quietest 1 TB and 2TB drives. I lost my trust in Seagate when they took Maxtor. Some Seagates being manufactured today either last 3 days or a couple of years. Its a 40% Chance if you buy a 1; 1.5; or 2 TB hard drive from Seagate, it fails out of the box within 3 days. Inside is a Western Digital Caviar Green Hard Drive, if your a fan of WD like me, you would know that they have 3 lines of hard drives: WD Caviar Green; WD Caviar Blue; and WD Caviar Black Also inside you will find a SATA to USB adapter, which is integrated in the WD My Passports which is gay so you can’t use them for upgrading laptops/ PS3′s
I purchased a Drobo off of Amazon the other day so I could backup all of the files on my computer in a more reliable way. It essentially takes all of my data, and stores it on up to 4 HDD’s inside of it. One of the nice things about it is that it’s redundant. This means that if any hard drive were to fail inside the Drobo, I can replace it without losing any data. This is because the other HDD’s in it also have the same data stored on them. So it makes it very difficult for me to lose any of my data. Which is a very, very good thing. =]
In this video, I unbox and review the 2.5″ external hard drive case from Ultra. This case features USB 2.0, eSATA, a extra USB ‘DC power’ connection, and a nice aluminum finish. In the box comes the case its self, a USB 2.0 cable, eSATA (3Gbps) cable, a ‘DC power’ USB cable (for extra power in case the bus power on the one cable is not enough), a eSATA mounting bracket (for a desktop), and a leather cover (for the case). I picked this up from Tiger Direct for about (US) and I would recommend this produce to anyone.

PS I did cut out some boring bits ans sped up one spot when I was just turning a couple of screws. Before you use it with the USB loader, you do have to format the drive, and do other setup, but this video just covers the physical installation and shows that this model of drive enclosure will work with the Wii.
