My HP laptop power cord adapter broke after someone tripped over my cord in the bookstore. The computer was about 6 years old and it would have costed too much to repair the adapter so I bought a new laptop. I had most of the files backed up but there are some pictures and a few other files that I want to get off the old laptop. Is there a way I can hook it in series to my new laptop and access the drives of the old laptop using only the power from the new laptop? Thanks

I went to bestbuy and radiosachk this morning they had different kind of input than what I have. what kind of out does this hard drive have. I could not find it online please help.
