I need an adapter to my hard drive?

I have this hard drive for my laptop but I can’t install any OS on it I tried all hte possible ways but i just can’t but I think you can get an adapter for it so you can stick it in a desktop or any other computer with USB and install and OS into it heres the pic of my laptop hard drive

You need a USB to 2.5" IDE adapter or enclosure. Make your bed. Do you play UT2004?
Installing an OS to it gets more complicated.

They are called IDE/SATA to USB devices, for example:

They connect to the device and then via USB to another laptop or computer. Works great. Format the hard drive and reinstall windows onto it. Works as a back up tool as well, you can pull files off the hard drive to your laptop or computer, reinstall the other hard drive, and re-move the files onto the newly reinstalled hard drive.
