More fun with the EasyCap. Trying it out with a current gen console. This doesn’t mean high definition (obviously, I can only still use composite video anyway), but what it does mean is a full 60fps gameplay. It’s still playable, with no blatant lag, even in capture. The first battle, I chose a relatively static level (Final Destination) which doesn’t change much. This one seems to work fine. The second one, I tried a more dynamic level, and I don’t know if you can tell, but it seems to slow down, slightly. I don’t recall if it slows down on a TV, but it’s still easily playable. Also, addressing the issue of input lag. Some of the older devices, while they have composite video input, if you try to play a game on it, you’ll notice a severe input lag; that is, lag between the time you push the button and you seeing the result on screen, which made console hookup gaming impossible. I’m happy to say that the EasyCap doesn’t have this issue, so it works well if you want to game on your computer monitor. Be warned though, even though it can go full screen on your monitor, that doesn’t mean it’ll take up the entire screen. If you have a widescreen monitor, obviously 4:3 games will not stretch themselves. I believe Amazon is still selling them for about , so it’s a good deal if you’re looking for a USB video adapter. By the way, my computer specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4GHz 2GB DDR2-800 GeForce 8600GTS 256MB A slower computer may lag while recording, but if you have at

I want to copy setup files from my desktop cd rom to my laptop hard drive to install windows. (laptop has no cd rom)
My laptop is a IBM 755 ce. My desktop is a Compaq Presario running windows ME (unfortunately).
I have a 2.1 GB IBM laptop drive I can install into my desktop with the neccessary adapters. The problem is my desktop won’t recognize the laptop drive. I have tried everything from basic connection trouble shoot, to jumper settings, bios settings and all possible cominations of cable and jumper settings.
I have done this before before with the 540 MB drive that came with the laptop.
What the heck is wrong here!!
HELP!!
Thanks……

I want to install windows 98se on my laptop. I need the cab files copied to the laptop drive for setup.

I have an HP Pavilion ze4400 with Windows XP, and a Western Digital 100gb USB portable hard drive (which i use like a mega flash drive). I recently bought a Linksys Wireless-N USB Network Adapter #WUSB300N to use for connecting to public wifi spots for the purpose of downloading large files (i only have dial-up at home) onto my portable hard drive (the laptop has almost no room, 32gb originally) since the built-in wireless adapter is both outdated, and limited in strength. While the Linksys adapter works perfect in browsing the net at 100mb/s connection, the problem is that if i plug my usb hard drive in first, verify it is running and accessible, and then plug in the USB wifi adapter, suddenly the usb HD disappears like i had unplugged it, without having even touched it or its connection to the laptop. I know that the laptop has worked both USB ports simultaneously before, this is my first time seeing a problem like this. Thoughts or suggestions on what to try, or alternatives?

Recover some files from broken hard drive?

My laptop hard drive started to make a weird noise when I turned it on. It was a kind of loud buzzing noise (like a drill going off). So i panicked and quickly shut it off. Afterwards I turned it on again and now the screen shows up as "Non-System Disk or Disk Error". I have some very important documents on the laptop and so I’m wondering if there is a way to recover them.

I know there are things like a "usb hard drive enclosure" and "hard drive adapter kits" that might work, but are there other methods to recovering the documents, that doesn’t require spending too much money.

*I AM willing to spend money but am just wondering if there are any other options.

How To Upgrade_Install RAM In a MacBook.mp4

tinyurl.com The MacBook Air is a Macintosh notebook computer designed by Apple. It is positioned as the ultraportable in Apple’s MacBook Family and was introduced at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 15, 2008. It has been revised twice since the original release. When the MacBook Air was introduced, Apple described it as the “world’s thinnest notebook”. After the release of the MacBook Air, Dell challenged that claim with the release of the Dell Adamo. Several features were sacrificed to reduce the computer’s size and weight. It is Apple’s first notebook since the PowerBook 2400c without a built-in removable media drive.[2] It also omits a FireWire port, ethernet port, line-in, media card slots and a Kensington Security Slot. The battery is internal and not user removable, and the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard. A single speaker is included for mono sound. A flip-down hatch on the right side reveals the ports on the MacBook Air: a single USB port, a Mini DisplayPort, and a stereo earphone jack. The left side of the machine has a MagSafe adapter for power, and there is a webcam above the 13.3″ screen. To regain the features of an optical drive, users can either use a separately-available external USB SuperDrive, or the bundled Remote Disc software to access the optical drive of another computer.[3] Using an ethernet cable requires a separately available USB-to-ethernet adapter. The MacBook Air was the first subcompact laptop offered by Apple since the full

My desktop recently crashed and I’m looking to get the data onto my new laptop from the old hard drive. It seems that you can take it out and put it into one of these USB adapters… do I have the right idea here? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just info: My old computer was a Sony VAIO desktop from 2004. The back says Model: PCV-2252

This is the kind of thing I’m talking about:

Gaming on the MSI Wind – Emulation

If you want a portable device that will play everything between Atari and Nintendo 64(And is an actual computer), and don’t want to spend much more than 0 to get it, you don’t have to look much further than OpenPandora.org. However, If you can’t wait for the Pandora to be completed, Netbooks are your next best option besides the GP2X Wiz which has no keyboard. Netbooks are notebook computers that are a tad larger than a portable DVD player, and have the functionality of a full sized laptop. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not exactly workhorses, but they hold their own when it comes to everyday modern programs. Here, on my MSI Wind, I show off gameplay for several classic game systems including the hard to emulate Chrono Cross for PSX. The Emulators I used were NES – FCEUX SNES – ZSNES Sega Genesis – Gens+ Game Boy Advance – VisualBoyAdvance Playstation – ePSXe Nintendo 64 – Project64 ————————————————- Settings for PSX and N64 Emulation ————————————————- ePSXe: Video: Pete’s D3D Driver 1.77 Resolution & Colors: Full Screen Mode Desktop Resolution: 1024×600 Color Depth: 16-bit Textures: Texture Quality: R4 G4 B4 A4 – Fast, but less colorful Hi-Res Textures: 0: None (Standard) Texture Filtering: 0: None Gfx card vram: 0 (Autodetect) Frame rate: Use FPS limit – On Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit Compatibility: Off-Screen drawing: 2: Standard – Ok for most games Advanced blending: 0: None Framebuffer textures
